Why we built NomadSG and what makes it different

NomadSG started as a document shared between friends who had all made the same mistakes when moving to Singapore — paying for the wrong visa advice, signing into the wrong coworking space, and generally spending too much time finding information that should be obvious.

The guide covers four areas — visas, coworking, cost of living, and internet — because those are the four things that matter most in the first three months of a Singapore stay. We have tried to avoid the two failure modes that most nomad content falls into: being too vague to be actionable ("Singapore is expensive but worth it!") or being subtly shaped by affiliate relationships.

Every pricing figure on this site comes from either direct research (calling operators, checking official portals, reviewing lease listings) or from publicly available government and operator sources. We link to official sources throughout so you can verify the numbers yourself.

Our Expertise

The contributors to this site have collectively spent more than four years working in Singapore across different visa types — EP holders, ONE Pass holders, and short-stay tourist-entry remote workers. The experiences span different neighbourhoods (Tanjong Pagar, Tiong Bahru, Jurong, Tampines), different coworking operators, and different mobile/fibre configurations.

We are not immigration lawyers, tax advisors, or financial planners. Where advice from those professionals is needed, we say so explicitly and link to relevant official channels.

How We Keep Information Current

Singapore's visa rules, coworking prices, and mobile plan structures change regularly. We review each section at least quarterly and update figures whenever we identify a discrepancy. The "Updated" date at the top of each article reflects when the content was last verified — not just when it was written.

If you find outdated information, please contact us at hello@aniizixyhywyq.eu. We take accuracy seriously and will update within 48 hours.

Editorial independence

NomadSG has no sponsored content arrangements. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage of any coworking space, SIM provider, or visa service. Any external links are included because they are genuinely useful to readers, not for commercial reasons.
